How Much Does Ceramic Coating Cost in Kankakee County, IL?

The short answer
At our shop in Grant Park, professional ceramic coating packages start at $650 for C12+ (12-month protection), $1,100 for ADVANCE (3–5 years of protection), and $1,450 for REVOLUTION (6+ years of protection). Those are starting prices for smaller vehicles — actual pricing varies by vehicle size, paint condition, and the package you choose, and we confirm the exact number after looking at your vehicle.
Those numbers are real, current package prices — not teaser rates. But the honest answer to “what does ceramic coating cost?” is that it depends on your vehicle, its paint condition, and how long you want the protection to last. Here’s what actually drives the price.

What you’re actually paying for
A ceramic coating is not a wax you wipe on in an afternoon. The coating itself is only part of the job — the preparation underneath it is what decides how the finished vehicle looks and how long the coating performs.
Every coating we install includes a thorough wash, chemical decontamination, and paint surface preparation so the coating bonds to clean, bare paint. Skip that groundwork and even the best coating will underperform.
- Full hand wash and chemical decontamination
- Paint surface preparation for proper bonding
- Paint correction to remove swirls and defects
- Controlled indoor application and curing

Paint correction is the biggest variable
If your paint has swirl marks, light scratches, or oxidation — and most daily-driven vehicles do — those defects get sealed under the coating if they aren’t corrected first. That’s why paint correction is built into every package we offer — but the level of correction is not the same across packages.
C12+ and ADVANCE include a one-step paint correction and polish, which removes light swirling and restores gloss. REVOLUTION includes more extensive paint correction — additional machine stages for paint that needs deeper defect removal. A vehicle with heavy defects takes more machine time, and that labor is reflected in the package price. You can read more about the process on our paint correction page.
Vehicle size and condition
A compact sedan has far less painted surface than a full-size SUV or a dually truck, and pricing scales with the real working time. Larger vehicles, vehicles with heavy contamination, and paint in poor condition can add to the package price — we confirm the exact number after looking at your vehicle, so there are no surprises.
What each package includes
All three packages use CCI ceramic coatings applied by hand in our indoor shop. The differences come down to longevity, the level of correction, and how much of the vehicle is protected.
- C12+ — from $650: 12-month protection, one-step paint correction and polish, paint surface preparation
- ADVANCE — from $1,100: 3–5 year protection, one-step paint correction and polish, glass and trim protection
- REVOLUTION — from $1,450: 6+ year protection, more extensive paint correction, glass and trim protection

How long does it really last?
A coating’s rated lifespan is not a guarantee — how long it actually performs depends on how the vehicle is cared for. Regular hand washing, avoiding automatic brush washes, garage storage, and lower exposure to road salt, industrial fallout and other contamination all help a coating reach its rated lifespan. A daily driver that sits outside year-round and sees brush washes will realistically see less.
What a coating does not do is make your vehicle maintenance-free. It makes washing faster and easier, keeps gloss locked in, and protects against contamination bonding to the paint — but it still needs to be washed and maintained. We’d rather tell you that up front than sell you a fantasy.
Is it worth it?
If you plan to keep your vehicle for several years and care about how it looks, a ceramic coating usually pencils out: fewer details, easier washes, and paint that stays noticeably newer. If you’re trading the vehicle in next year, a lower-cost protection option may make more sense — we’ll tell you that honestly when you ask.
The best way to get an exact number for your vehicle is to request a quote or stop by the shop. You can also see the full package breakdown on our ceramic coating page or our Kankakee ceramic coating page for local details.
