Every coated vehicle remains inside our controlled shop environment for at least 24 hours after application.
- 03 / AFTER THE INITIAL SHOP CUREVehicle Pickup
After the minimum 24-hour shop cure, your vehicle can be released with specific aftercare instructions. It is not fully cured at pickup.
- 04 / MEASURED FROM APPLICATIONFull Cure — Approximately 12 Days
The ceramic coating reaches full cure approximately 12 days after application—not 12 additional days after pickup—according to the applicable product guidance.
Two different milestones: the initial shop cure permits pickup; the approximately 12-day cure completes the curing period. Follow Porter’s Detailing’s specific aftercare instructions throughout the full window, beginning at application. Do not wash immediately after pickup; follow our instructions for when washing can resume.
Ceramic coating makes exterior maintenance easier. It does not eliminate washing or prevent rock chips, deep scratches, or all water spots.
